Strata Movement Warning System is based on the measurement of low frequency micro-seismic waves generated due to strata movement. Installation of system in an underground mine would help in prediction of roof fall and provide audio visual alarm in case of impending roof fall. This would help in providing warning to the people working under the impending roof fall so that necessary precautions can be taken accordingly. This would also help in saving valuable Human lives as well as machines working under impending roof fall conditions in underground mines.
